| Day 10: Ontario Canada; Red Rock to Thunder
Bay Sept 5; 60 miles We went into Thunder Bay the next day and took a rest day and had our bikes tuned up at Petrie's Cycle and Sports in Thunder Bay by their very knowledgeable bike tech. We had found on the internet that there were 3 bike shops in Thunder Bay, so we found them all; altho one had closed up. We stayed at the Norwegian themed Valhalla Inn and Restaurants in Thunder Bay and had a great dinner there to celebrate Joan's birthday! Off the shore of Thunder Bay, you can see the "Sleeping Giant" island. From Thunder Bay on, Julie and her mother Joan, road on their tandem bike
together. I tell you, it is such a great inspiration to see Joan, who is just
shy of 80 years old be in such wonderful physical condition that she was able to
join us bicycling around the Lake! Now that is something we could all aspire to
